Eden James' single, Never Setting Sun, stole the Number One spot from pop heavyweight Robbie Williams in the Greek Top 40.

His debut album of the same name not only gained him chart success and critical acclaim, but also won him the ‘Best New Talent’ award at Australia’s Sunnie Awards.

After the release of his second album Electric Charge, he received the ‘Best International Artist’ award at Australia’s MUSICOZ Awards, and also picked up two British award nominations at the Indy Music Awards for ‘Best Rock Act’ and ‘Best International Act’.

The following summer Eden James appeared on the bill with The Killers, Placebo and Moby at the Rockwave festival in Athens. Eden and his band were the second top billing on the Vibe stage for the largest music festival in Greece.

Eden’s second album Electric Charge was co-produced by himself and Antti Uusimaki (Brian Eno, Cornershop) whose avant-garde style complemented Eden's pop appreciation. The result was an album built on old-school musical landscapes and timeless songwriting. “Together we achieved what we wanted. A pop record dressed in classic rock and indie stylings,” said James.

The latest and third studio album is now complete and had Eden enlist two iconic engineers for the mixing; Jonathan Shakhovskoy (Amy Winehouse, U2, Sterephonics) and Mark Opitz (AC/DC, INXS, Kiss). The album was produced by Eden and is due for release August 2011 on Eden's digital label EJE.

Eden James' debut album Never Setting Sun launched him as an international artist, and his performances in Japan, United Kingdom, France, Norway, Greece, Poland, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand and the USA have resulted in an ever-growing fan base. His music can be downloaded now from this store at edenjames.com or visit iTunes. All Eden James videos can be found here on the Sounds+Vision page and on YouTube.
